TDV Recon participants may have the opportunity to arrive earlier or stay longer, to acclimatise, explore further or extend your holiday. If you or your team cannot schedule for the 2024 Recon Event, we happily offer the same guided trip for private groups, small numbers or Cycling Teams.
Anytrails.com is the TDV Travel and Tour Partner and can assist with visas, hotels, tours or travel, or TDV staff are happy to liaise for you. Anytrails offers guided street food and cycling tours of Hanoi City, West Lake, Ecopark and Red River areas, with your own bike or on their Bianchi MTB's. Anytrails.com also arrange customised tours of all of Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Thailand, helping you to explore South East Asia.
Some may wish to do some cycling out of Hanoi - to acclimatise, familiarise with traffic and explore nearby areas. TDV are happy to arrange free guided rides to suit your time, distance and level. There are many suitable rides from Hanoi, from 30-120km, especially to the north and west of the city, with flat, rolling or mountains to choose from.
Other opportunities you may wish to consider while in Vietnam is Dental work, which is very professional, easy to arrange and inexpensive.
